In this six-week English course aimed at Year 6 students, we will build on the 11+ curriculum and look ahead to the Key Stage 3 curriculum. We will introduce a range of challenging texts exploring a variety of genres. Writing for a series of different purposes will be explored considering structure, tone and register. We will also explore poetry in more depth, with the KS3 curriculum in mind. Lessons will be varied, fast-paced and interactive to ensure maximum engagement and enjoyment!
Lessons will be delivered online via Zoom.
Parents will receive individual, written feedback every three weeks
